Sj\u00f6gren\u2019s syndrome and other autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, thyroid disorders).<\/p><p>Severe dry eye, chronic inflammation, and immunosuppression make chalazion more frequent, more persistent, and more prone to
